Fewtrils & Fattrels
Here are a couple long forgotten words that I think we should bring back. Most of us are familiar with stocking stuffers or stocking fillers at Christmas, but why not call them fewtrils or fattrrels from now on?
So, when someone empties their Christmas stocking and thanks you for all the baubles inside, you can just say, "Oh, it’s nothing at all. Just a few festive fewtrils & fattrels!" Of course DO NOT say this if you put a diamond ring or something like that in the stocking. ;-)
I'm going to be away for a little while, so I won't do the new word next week. When I come back, I'll have some new ones though, and I think you'll like them.
