A female moose fell through an unlatched window into the basement of a home in Hailey, Idaho. It spent about 3 hours in the basement. Don't worry though, she was rescued and is fine. According to homeowner Julie Emerick, the officer darted the moose, which quickly succumbed and passed out in a corner. Eight officers rolled the approximately 600-pound animal onto a tarp.

The homeowner said the basement room suffered little damage and she called the moose "the most polite, gracious beast."
